Notes on criteria for selection of articles for review

# Article type: For notable articles relevant to the community in the Group 2 category (e.g. Conference abstract) that fulfil other selection criteria, journal reviewers are encouraged to submit the title, link and brief summary but no critical appraisal. This would be in addition to the Group 1 article summaries for the submission.

Specific tools for critical appraisal will not be mandated, however links will be provided to critical appraisal tools and readers are expected to use a structured approach. E.g. http://www.cebm.net/critical-appraisal/

* Important or high impact research such as publication of multicenter RCT or paper in a high impact journal (e.g. NEJM) with critical appraisal concerns such as methodology may be included and discussed further in Journal Club and Comments sections.

All submissions will be subject to editorial review and may be excluded if quality, relevance, or impact of the article are lacking.
